Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, one of the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television series. Family members fled from Afghanistan, and tried to seek asylum in the US. The actress was born there. Her sister in law raised her to the age of Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the most outstanding actress in the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. The actress was the character Chiara. Her television credits include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include the role of a supporting character in Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her career in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medical practices. Ghanizada was added to HBO Entourage's cast in 2009 as Kelly.
